Jambalaya and Jeep Ride in Breaux Bridge Saturday
The Breaux Bridge Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 5th annual Jambalaya Cook-Off this Saturday, Sept. 27, in conjunction with the “Wrangers & Wheels Jeep Ride” by presenting sponsor Courtesy Jeep.
The main event will be held at Parc Hardy, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., a full day of food, live music, and family-oriented fun.
Registration for “Wranglers & Wheels” will be at 7:30 a.m. at Courtesy Jeep, and the Louisiana Jeepers will lead the ride leaving at 9 a.m. and ending at Parc Hardy.
“Shiny and clean Jeeps, trucks and other wheels are welcome,” say the organizers.
Proceeds from this year’s event will go to the fund to repaint the iconic lift span over Bayou Teche in the heart of the historical district.
Admission is free. A $5 donation will get you some delicious jambalaya, which should be ready by noon.
Music by the Huval Family Band, Hugh & The Wrecking Crew and
