INVESTIGATION CONTINUES IN CONNECTION WITH DEATH OF ARNAUDVILLE MAN

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday an investigation into a fatal argument between neighbors on Betty Drive in Arnaudville last week is continuing and upon completion, will be turned over to the district attorney's office for review.
Witnesses told various news outlets that the neighbors, Dewayne Gravouia, 55, and George C. Prejean, 67, apparently got into a fight in front of Gravouia's residence on the afternoon of Thursday, May 7. Prejean was transported to a local hospital, apparently for injuries he received during the altercation, and died the following day.
