INFORMATION STILL BEING SOUGHT IN CONNECTION WITH ST. MARTIN COLD MURDER CASE

On Aug 9, 2005, investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office found Felton Poche Sr., 56, of New Iberia, dead of a gunshot wound in his office at an oilfield off of La. 96 in St. Martinville.
During the course of the investigation, it was learned that his company truck, a 2001 black Ford extra cab pickup with an aluminum bed toolbox, was missing from the office. The next day, the victim's truck was found burned and abandoned on a headland off of St. Nazarre Road, in the Lafayette Parish/Broussard area.
SMSO investigators believe the murder between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. and it is also believed that the victim’s truck was taken during that time frame.
