Dale Carnegie graduates with the Sheriff’s Office
Several deputies with St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office recently completed a 12-week Dale Carnegie Course in Effective Communication and Human Relations.
One of the philosophies of the training is to assist employees in maximizing their peak performance. The skills acquired by the deputies from the course, will be applied in their respective positions with the sheriff’s office.
During the training, several of the deputies received the following awards:
•Detective Gabriel T. Gauthier – Breakthrough Award and Outstanding Performance Award;
•Lt. Col. Reginald Clues – Breakthrough Award, Outstanding Performance Award, Outstanding Achievement Award and Human Relations Award;
•Sgt. Eric Guerrettaz – Breakthrough Award;
•Detective Sgt. Karen Mouton-Jones – Breakthrough Award and Human Relations Award;
•Detective Lt. Dina Theriot – Outstanding Performance Award’
•Lt. Jay Capterville – Outstanding Performance Award and Crashing Through Award.
