Catherine Olivier, St. Martinville banker, earns certification in internal auditing

St. Martinville – Catherine Olivier, internal auditor for Teche Bank & Trust Co., St. Martinville and Kaplan State Bank, Kaplan, recently completed the Certified Community Bank Internal Auditing Program.

The course, held in Minneapolis, Minn., is sponsored by the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA).

To earn certification, Olivier successfully completed the requirements of a comprehensive bank auditing program and passed all certification examinations. The seminars included: Auditing I – The Basics, Auditing Working Papers; Auditing II - Auditing Liabilities; Auditing III – Auditing Assets; Auditing IV – Regulatory Accounting and Operational Auditing and Bank Information Systems Auditing.
