UPDATE: Bomb scare evacuates parts of Henderson

UPDATE: State Police explosive experts determined that the suspicious object that led to the evacuation of parts of Henderson Monday morning was a flashlight and other objects apparently combined to mimic a pipe bomb.
The object was not dangerous, but that doesn't mean whoever place it in the grocery cart at Hebert's is not in big trouble.

HazMat experts from Louisiana State Police are in Henderson inspecting a "suspicious device" found in a grocery cart at Hebert's in Henderson.
Maj. Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office said the object was reported around 10:30 a.m. Monday.
"As standard procedure warrants, the immediate area was evacuated," Higgins said.
