One change of address leads to another

St. Martin Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested Scott Champagne, 53, of St. Martinville Monday for failing to notify law enforcement authorities of his change of address.

SMSO conducted an investigation in reference to a non-compliant sex offender, which led to an arrest warrant being obtained for Champagne.

He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center in lieu of $10,000 bond.
