Grand Coteau men busted in snatch of Arnaudville iPhone

St. Martinville – Two Grand Coteau men were arrested March 18 in connection with a burglary in the Arnaudville area.

Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Myles Morgan, 20, and Joshua Chavis, 22, in connection with a burglary on Courtableau Highway in Arnaudville.

According to SMSO’s Maj. Ginny Higgins, it was a residential burglary that was thwarted when the homeowner spotted them. They had taken an iPhone but it was recovered.

The two men were arrested on suspicion of simple burglary.

Morgan and Chavis were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center in lieu of $7,500 bond.
