Grand Anse drug bust puts two men in jail

St. Martin Parish sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant Sunday at a residence on Grand Anse Highway in Breaux Bridge and discovered illegal narcotics and firearms.
Two men were arrested, Cory Theriot, 38, of Breaux Bridge, 38, and Kevin Darbonne, 33, of Sunset.
They were both booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on suspicion of possession of methamphetam ine and amphetamine, illegally carrying weapons in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug plaraphernalia.
Theriot was also charged with resisting an officer by flight and possession of a stolen vehicle.
