Breaux Bridge man booked on drug charges

Following an investigation into suspected illegal drug activity, narcotics agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Eddie Wiltz, 28, of Breaux Bridge.
Deputies said Wiltz was found to be in possession of a significant amount of high grade marijuana and promethazine with an estimated street value of approximately $20,000.
He was booked into St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on suspicion of:
•Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I CDS (marijuana over 400 grams);
•Possession of Schedule V CDS (promethazine)’
•Obstruction of justice;
•Resisting an officer.
