4-H Fall Fest contest results

The fifth annual St. Martin Parish 4-H Fall Fest was held at the 4-H Office in Breaux Bridge on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The first big contest day of the year, Fall Fest included a pet show, sugar cookery contest, rice cookery contest, and a decorated pumpkin contest.
The objective of the contest is for 4-H’ers to express their creativity and improve their character development in the areas of responsibility, fairness, and caring.
Members from 4-H clubs throughout the parish participated in this event. There were 64 participants in the pet show, 41 entries in the cookery contests, and 100 entries in the decorated pumpkin contest.
