Parish Rabies Clinic begins on Saturday

The annual St. Martin Parish Rabies Clinic will be held on Saturday, April 12, Saturday, April 19, and Saturday, April 26. The annual clinic offers pet owners discounted rabies shots costing only $5 and local veterinarians travel to designated locations throughout the parish.
It’s the law, all dogs and cats over the age of three months must be vaccinated against rabies. Immunizations will be administered at the following times and locations:
Saturday, April 12
•St. Martin Parish Rabies Clinic.
•8 a.m. - 10 a.m. – Tractor Supply, Breaux Bridge Dr. Cole Delhomme DVM.
•10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.– John’s Store, Breaux Bridge, Dr. Delhomme.
•1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. – Cecilia High School, Dr. Delhomme.
Saturday, April 26
•8 a.m. - 10 a.m.– Magnolia Park, St. Martinville, Dr. Jackie Simon DVM.
•10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.– Parks Primary School, Parks, Dr. Simon.
•1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.– Bayou Teche Vet Clinic, Breaux Bridge, Dr. Poyner.
Saturday, April 19
Dr. Darryl L. Dahlquist DVM of the Breaux Bridge Veterinary Clinic will be administered immunizations at the following times and locations:
•8 a.m. - 10 a.m. – Henry Guidry Memorial Park Pavilion, Amy Street, Henderson (first right passed Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church).
•10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. – Joel Theriot Designs, Grand Point Hwy., Breaux Bridge, Dr. Dahlquist.
To ensure the safety of your pet, cats and dogs brought to the rabies clinic must be properly contained and/or on a leash.
