Cecilia man booked for meth sales

Cecilia – Abrum Fontenette, 28, of Cecilia was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 7 on charges associated with the sale of methamphetamine.
The arrest followed a purchase of the drug in the 1000 block of East Madeline Blvd. by an undercover narcotics agent. A complaint had been received of illegal drug activity in the area.
Fontenette was booked into the St. Martin Correctional Center and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, illegal use of schedule II drugs in the presence of a juvenile, transactions involving proceeds from drug offences and violations of a drug free zone.
