Breaux Bridge Honors Its Veterans
Veterans Park in Breaux Bridge was the venue for Monday’s tribute to the men and women who have served our country with honor, commitment and sacrifice.
Ames Cormier, Commander of Veterans Post 4215, led the gathering of roughly seventy five which included veterans of foreign wars, military families and friends as well as local and parish elected officials.
Cormier extended special appreciation to local Cub Scout Pack 301 for their support and participation in the ceremony.
The event ended with a rendition of “God Bless America” sung by Helen Boudreaux. Lunch was served afterwards at the Veterans Hall located at 800 Main Street, Breaux Bridge.
