SECOND ARREST MADE IN CONNECTION WITH LAST WEEK’S SHOOTING OF ST. MARTINVILLE MAN ON RUSSO MILAZZO ROAD

Monday, Aug. 25, investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Kecyiel Warner, 18, of New Iberia, without incident in connection with the Aug. 18 shooting of a male subject on Russo Milazzo Road in St. Martinville.
Warner was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on one count of attempted first-degree murder.
The first arrest in the incident, a home-invasion by three black males, occurred on Friday, Aug. 22, when Investigators arrested Kedrick Paul Broussard, 19, of Carencro on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder.
The third suspect, identified as Kelvin Andrea Batiste, 20, of St. Martinville, is also wanted in connection with this incident. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Batiste is asked to contact the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 394-3071.
